I’m new to Lady Death. Where do I start?
Welcome! In the Coffin Comics Lady Death Universe, Chaos Rules is the best place to start her epic adventure. Damnation Game would be the second story to read, followed by Extinction Express, Oblivion Kiss, Merciless Onslaught and finally, Unholy Ruin. We offer a complete digital copy set in this campaign, in case you need to catch up. If you would prefer physical copies, we have those, too!

What about Lady Death from Avatar Press and Boundless Comics?
Lady Death stories were published by Avatar Press / Boundless Comics from 2004 to 2015. For all intents and purposes, these stories represent a dream state experienced by Lady Death between the events of her original Chaos! series (1994-2002) and the events of the debut Coffin Comics Lady Death title, Chaos Rules (2015). As such, they are not considered canon. Coffin Comics is the new permanent home of Lady Death, under the careful supervision of creator Brian Pulido. Accept no imitations! I miss Evil Ernie, Purgatori and Chastity! Will you be bringing them back?
Although Brian Pulido created these characters (among others), he hasn’t owned the rights to any of the characters from the original Chaos! Universe (aside from Lady Death) since 2002. Trust us, we miss them, too! But don’t worry – we have lots of great new things in store for the new Lady Death Universe and you guys are all a part of making that happen!

I pledged for a digital reward. How or when will these rewards be delivered?
All digital rewards will be distributed to backers via BackerKit sometime in November 2017, around the same time we begin fulfilling the physical rewards. We will notify all backers as we draw closer to the exact delivery date.

I pledged for a reward tier that includes an Unholy Ruin Chase Metallicard or Lady Death: Chaos Rules #1 - Chase Edition. Can you clue me into which color I’ll be receiving?
No, because that would be cheating! Chase Edition items will be completely randomized by an unbiased 3rd party prior to distribution. Each individual copy will then be carefully shielded and sealed to prevent detection during order fulfillment. NOTE: Because of the nature of these products, all copies of these products will be delivered UNSIGNED. However, Brian would be more than happy to autograph your copy in person at a show, if you’d like!

How will my rewards be shipped and how will they be packaged?
Domestically, we ship all rewards through USPS or FedEx, depending on the size and weight of the package and where it’s going. International rewards will be shipped through USPS International. In terms of packaging, we go through great lengths to uphold the very best shipping and handling procedures in the industry. We use packaging boxes and packaging rated at 200 psi burst strength. Your items will be securely packaged so that they don’t shift during transit. Any of our past customers or backers will be able to tell you how much we care about these things!

Yes, Brian would be happy to sign most items offered on this campaign. During your survey, we asked you for your preference for SIGNED or UNSIGNED items. Please note that we cannot offer signatures on “Chase” products, Mystery Envelopes or Stretch Goal incentive items.

How much will I be charged for shipping for BackerKit add-ons?
Shipping for all add-ons is FREE to backers residing in the United States. If you’re an international backer, there will be a shipping fee added to your amount due, which will vary depending on the add-on you select and where you live. These shipping rates only reflect the actual cost differences we incur between domestic and international rates. We do not profit from shipping and handling and we never will!

If all goes to plan, we will begin fulfilling rewards sometime in November 2017! Also note that we will be distributing surveys (via BackerKit) to all backers about two weeks after the campaign closes. We use this survey to collect your shipping address, so it’s very important that you complete it in a timely manner for the fastest rewards delivery!

When will I be billed for my add-ons?
If you added items on here in BackerKit, we will collect your credit/debit card info during the final steps of your survey. This info is kept securely on file, but you will not be charged until survey lockdown on October 23, 2017. With this in mind, please plan accordingly.

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
